Recipe via Irene
(4- 6 servings)
2 TBSP butter
1 red onion, thinly sliced1 tsp chopped garlic
Pinch red pepper flakes
1 pound boneless chicken breast, cut in thin strips
Red pepper (cut in pieces)
Green pepper (cut in pieces)
1 ½ cups real whipping cream
1 ½ tsp salt
375 gram bag fettuccine pasta
¼ cup chopped parsley or basil
- Melt butter in large frying pan
- Add onion, garlic and pepper flakes
- Cook 5 minutes
- Add chicken and cook until no longer pink
- Add peppers and cook for another 5 minutes
- Add whipping cream, salt and pepper
- Gently bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 – 8 minutes
- Meanwhile cook fettuccine until tender, drain well
- Toss pasta with sauce and parsley/basil
