Recipe via Jean Higham
A very light melt in your mouth cookie ~ delicate flavor
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla
Add eggs
Sift flour, baking powder and salt
Add to butter mixture
Fform into round balls and place on cookie sheet
Press hole in center with finger and fill with jam or cherries
Bake @ 350* until lightly brown
