How Much Time?

Source: Muses by Ro

How much time of your life is spent in other people's heads?
•How much time so you spend assigning motivations to other people's actions?
•How much time is spent worrying about how other people are judging you?
•How much time is spent judging what other people do?
•How much time is spent wondering what other people think?

How much time of your life is spent in the past?
•How often do you replay your life, seeking for better, alternate endings?
•How often do you replay your life, keeping alive past hurts so that you can keep anger and unforgiveness alive?
•How often do you replay your life, looking for roads untraveled that might have brought better results today?

How much time is spent in the future?
•How much time is spent worrying about potential bad endings?
•How much time is spent wishing that the moment you are in now was over?
•How much time is spent wishing for more instead of being grateful for what you have now?
•How much time is spent thinking about the vacation you will take, the car you will buy, the job you will get, or the parties you will attend?

Here is truth:
•Only God can read our minds.
•Only God knows why we do the things we do.
•Only God has the right to judge us.
•Only God knows what will happen in the future.
•Even God cannot change the past.
•We always have what we have now – no more, no less.
•Our choices tomorrow will influenced by the choices we make today.
•Each moment is a clean slate allowing us to choose something better than we chose before.
•To spend time thinking of life as it was or as it might have been prevents you from enjoying the life you have now.
