Raspberry squares


Recipe via Aunty Barbara Grisack

First Part:
1 cup flour
1 TBSP milk
1 egg
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup butter

Mix these ingredients like a pie dough and roll to pan size 9 x 12
Then spread on top a thin layer of raspberry jam

Second Part:
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
1 1/2 cups coconut
1 egg beaten

Mix well and spread over jam
Bake @ 350* for 25 minutes
Cut in squares while warm
