Recipe via Aunty Barbara Grisack
Mix together:
1 cup flour
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp soda
Add:
1/2 cup butter
Mix together until crumbly
Press into bottom of pan and bake 10 minutes
Beat:
2 eggs
Stir in:
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp almond flavoring
Mix in
2 TBSP flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Add:
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup cherries
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup chopped marashino cherries
Bake @ 350* for 25 minutes
Cherry Almond Icing
3 TBSP soft butter
2 cups icing sugar
1/4 tsp almond flavoring
3 TBSP cherry juice
