Swiss Steak


Ingredients
• 2 lb. Round steak
• 2 1/2 cups stewed tomatoes
• 1 onion, sliced
• 2 stalks celery, chopped
• 1 chopped green pepper
• 1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
    squirt of hot sauce
• 1/8 tsp. Pepper
• Paprika
• oregano
• 1 tsp. Vinegar
• 2 garlic cloves, minced,
• 2 Tbs. ketchup
• 2 Tbs. Brown sugar
• 1 tsp. Salt
• 6 Tbs. Flour

How to make Swiss Steak
• Pound about 6 Tbs. Flour into sides of steak.
• Brown steak in hot fat in a skillet.
• Add all ingredients. Cover.
• Cook over low heat or in the oven at 300* for about 2-2 1/2 hours or until tender
• . Uncover last 15 minutes to cook down to a thick sauce

**Can cook on top of stove on low heat or in electric fry pan or crockpot on low

Make mashed potatoes or baked potato, add a vegetable and there's your dinner
