2 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1 cup buttermilk
In medium bowl, stir together flour, baking
powder, sugar, and salt
Work in butter with pastry cutter or hands
until mixture is crumbly.
Stir in buttermilk until just blended.
Roll out about 1 1/2 inches thick and cut out
with 3-inch round cookie cutter
- Hint - DO NOT TWIST CUTTER WHEN
CUTTING OUT)
Can bake on top of a chicken pot pie @ 350o
for 12 - 15 minutes or
Place on greased cookie sheet and bake @ 450o
10 1- 12 minutes or until golden brown
